Day 1er: Cusco – Bambú Lodge.-

We leave Cusco early in the morning in our private car adapted for the route with mountains and jungle, in the course of the trip we will pass many places of tourist attraction such as: Ninamarca which is a pre-Inca construction of the Lupaca Kindong culture, then we will be passing through the valley of Paucartambo and a small town of paucartambo known as the folkloric capital of Peru, then we will arrive at the Ajanaco pass which is the beginning of the Manu National Park from this point we will descend to the Amazon rainforest; going through a unique cloud forest in the world. In this area we will make short stops and hikes to see exotic birds of the cloud forest especially the Peruvian bird of the cock of the rocks, toucans, tanagers and mammals such as monkeys and coaties, with good luck lazy bear and a variety of flowers and orchids, and so we will arrive at sunset our hostel. Day 2: Bamboo Lodge – Papaya Lodge.-

After breakfast at the lodge we continue our trip in our private car to the fluvial port of Atalaya, from there we start our trip in a motorized boat through the Madre de Dios River to the Natural hot springs and then to the next lodge, the trip will be for 4 to 5 hours by boat, on the way we can see many species of birds such as herons, macaws, toucans, kingfishers, etc. and animals like the capybara, which is the largest rodent in the world and to enjoy the beautiful Amazonian landscape, in the afternoon we will arrive at the lodge.

At the lodge we will have a short break to relax from the long journey in the boat, later we make a little walk along the trails of the shelter looking for insects, birds, mammals, monkeys; then we return for dinner. B.L.D

Day 3: Papaya Lodge – Mammal Lick.-

This day after breakfast we start our hike to a beautiful primary forest with our camping equipment such as: tent, mat, sleeping bag, machete, mineral water, snacks, lunch and Our travel equipment such as camera, binoculars, telescope. and we go deep into the jungle to explore and see birds and mammals such as: macaws, toucans, woodpeckers, eagles; hummingbirds, tanagers, etc. Here you can see up to 8 species of monkeys; tree frogs, snakes, and a variety of medicinal plants and giant trees. The guide explains everything about the functions of the flora and fauna. In the afternoon we arrive at a place near where animals eat clay at night and there we camp. At night we look for nocturnal wildlife; spiders, tarantulas, frogs, snakes, alligators, nocturnal monkey and more insects and then we wait in the mammal clay lick to see nocturnal animals especially the Tapir. Day 4: Mammals lick – Papaya Lodge – Muyuna parrot clay lick .-

After breakfast we return looking for more animals to the lodge for our lunch, then we get ready to come back by the Madre de Dios river towards  parrot clay link, this time we will camp by the riverside, for dinner we will have a bonfire to cook our dinner in the Amazonian style. B.L.D.

Day 5: Muyuna clay lick – cusco.-

Very early in the morning we go to a beautiful parrots and macaws Clay lick (this clay is a place rich in minerals, where many species of birds visit frequently in the mornings). After enjoying this activity we return to the camp for breakfast. In the afternoon we visit a small Machuwasi lake, here we do our activity looking for more animals like: the Capybara which is the largest rodent in the world, birds that live in Amazonian lakes such as the prehistoric bird Hoatzin (shansho), crying unicorn (camungo), toucans and many more birds; and you will enjoy driving the Amazon-style topa rafts,  then return to Atalaya port,  and from here we return in our private car to  Bambu Lodge. Day 6: Soga de Oro Lodge – Cusco.-

after breakfast we pack and return in our private car to Cusco,  On the way back along the route we can look for things that we could not see the first day, back to Cusco around 3pm. End of the trip. B.L.
